Our pigs come from the Motherwell Homestead heritage breeding program, they cannot be certified organic because they were not born on our farm, but we love that we can support a Saskatchewan Heritage Site, and secure the ongoing presence of heritage breeds.

We have Berkshire/Tamworth crosses, and they enjoy the great outdoors, certified organic food, and tasty scraps from our own kitchen!

With a custom-built all-weather shelter and allowed to root vigorously on a secured but open pasture, our pigs build mud baths and puddles to wallow in, then bask in the warm sun.
